Over the past eight years, jmk realty has listed, sold, or purchased residential and commercial real estate, both simple and highly complex transactions, valued at multiple millions of dollars. Also involved in property management as Austin Apartment Management Association.

 

Our goal is to effectively acquire, develop, manage and sell selected properties to assure our investors continued growth and profitability.We accomplish this by carefully researching market trends, meticulously studying demographics, and financially evaluating a prospective property’s potential.

 

Once acquired, we maintain our intimate involvement by managing them efficiently, optimizing their income potential and market value to produce strong, consistent investment returns. While many people recognize the value of real estate as an investment, they do not want the on-going responsibilities and time commitments required to effectively manage properties and assure profitable returns. Austin Apartment Management Association (AAMA) not only participates as an investor in all projects, it effectively manages the investment properties and acts as sales agent when the properties have reached optimum value as investments. Our investors can realize the returns on larger commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential properties without having to make the commitments of time, knowledge and effort required to participate through AAMA in this profitable real estate market segment.

 

In addition, many individual investors may not want to commit the more significant financial resources needed to acquire and develop larger properties, which, in turn, produce larger returns. AAMA provides an opportunity for investors to take advantage of the “economies of scale” associated with larger properties. These opportunities are structured as Limited Liability Companies, which enable multiple investors to participate. John is the Owner and President of jmk realty and has been in the real estate business for over ten years. An on-going, active investor in multi-family apartment buildings, owning over 100 units, John understands the challenges and needs of the small, personal investor of income producing properties. John has listed, sold or purchased apartment buildings,transactions ranging from 6 to 75 units in Chicago and the suburbs. Additionally, John is an experienced realtor of residential homes, providing personal attention to both buyers and sellers.

 Joe Denk, Broker

 

 

My name is Joe Denk.  My intention is to provide you with a thumbnail sketch of my life and business experience; that is, the skills I have mastered and the challenges I hope to meet and learn from in the future.

 

From my teenage years forward, I have always wanted to be a carpenter.  I came up through the ranks to attain journeyman status, mastering every skill associated with rough and trim residential and commercial carpentry.   My experience gained me foreman leadership positions on many and varied jobsites.  Eventually I partnered with a fellow carpenter to form Denk & Roche Builders, Inc., incorporating in 1979.  Together we built a business specializing in new residential carpentry.  In 2006, with a record number of 600 carpenters on the job, we were the largest union carpenter subcontractor in the State of Illinois, working for every major builder and general contractor in the States of Illinois and Wisconsin.  As a partner and officer of the company, my experiences have taught me leadership and growth strategies, money management and investment, employee management, safety regulation, implementation and adherence to industry standards and the rewards of providing quality work, service oriented attention and the building of relationships between companies.

 

I feel my knowledge and experience have led me to a new career path – specializing in building acquisition, renovation and management. In 2003, I earned my Real Estate Broker’s License, giving me the opportunity to buy and sell multi-family buildings and single family homes and specialize in condo conversions, while also listing different types of property for sale.  I have the expertise necessary to assess a good investment and make the decisions required to make that investment successful and profitable for all concerned.  I rent my own buildings and conduct property management in suburban Berwyn and the Austin area of Chicago.  I have connections in the renovation industry, the banking community and the service field that serve me well in property management.  The tenants of my properties are treated with respect and consideration and all properties are maintained with attention to detail and the highest standard of living.

 

My intention is to work well, respectfully and considerately with all I come in contact with and to provide excellent service, well- researched transactions in the rental and sales area and high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in the conversion and property management area.
